The firm I work for gave me the task to model a water main replacement project. I have drawn the model and attempted to input flow data from known hydrant to see what is entering the system. I have two pressure zones, One i believe is gravity fed from a lake and the other from the city distribution system. I tried to create a reservoir/pump system to represent the city distribution and created a pump curve from the fire hydrant data(questionable). For the other pressure zone (gravity fed) i have another fire hydrant data (questionable) that i tried to create the same system as stated before. Need some guidance on how yall would go about this.
I believe i made the model too complex with each node being a service connection or fire hydrant connection.
Also this is a town of about 1500 people so resources are limited....also Alaska
The goal at the end of the model is for the State's DEC to know we can supply 20 psi for residential service
Attached is the model and hydrant data
:
Any advice will be helpful
