Has anyone here successfully engraved glass with a VMC mill?

If so can you tell me what type of end mill, speed and feed you used?

I'd like to engrave a logo into 1/8" borosilicate.

A spring loaded diamond tip, no rotation. Feed would be fast.

Acid etching will give you far better results. You always stand to propagate cracking when you break into the surface, and you have the nasty sharpness. If you machine engrave, you will need a diamond tool rotating at the correct rpm, which would be very high. Commercial cut glass (drinkware, etc) is done with grinding tools.
