Hi

Actually I am using the following system of units for my FEA simulations.

length: in
force: lbf
Elastic Modulus: psi
mass: lbf
mass density: lbf/in^3
WTMASS Param: 0.00259 ( why do I have to set up this parameter?)
Acceleration (1G): 386.1 in/sec^2

OUTPUT

Disp: in
Force: lbf
Stress: psi

I am used to carry out my FEA simulation with the metric one, but my customer wants the output in imperial units, therefore I started use the above systems.
I heard that there are different english systems of units for structural analysis, is the above one consistent?
What is the most english systems of units for structural analysis?

thanks

You should read up and understand the wtmass param before you progress too far.
