Any engineers have experience in direct SRO training and licensing? Have any comments, like it/hate it, was it worth it when everything was all done, etc. I think that is the best and fastest way to know the plant inside and out. I have BS nuclear, MS mechanical, PE license; considering the SRO for next step in career, knowledge and I guess I'm a glutton for punishment (the money isn't bad either). I have been told that an engineer with SRO license (and time in the control room) can go and do whatever they want in the plant. Has that been your experience? Thanks for the input to this important decision.
