Engineered Lumber Exposed to weather 1

I have a project that uses parallam floor beams, TJI floor joists and OSB floor sheathing which has been exposed to a large amount of wet weather in the SF bay area.

Usually I require structrual members to be primed with a sealer if it occurs during the winter wet months, because I have had some past problems with swelling of parallams, osb etc...

Anyone have some advice on evaluating, dealing with, these conditions.

With regard to the parallams and TJI's call the manufacturer and ge their recommendations. It will affect the product liablity.

Regarding the OSB, if it is delaminated anywhere, discard it, or use it for non-structural sheathing.

I agree with msquared48, most manufactures of SCL will take a look at the product and give you your their opinion. I have had experience with Weyerhaeuser doing this in the past. Typically concerns with moisture are, delaminiation, decay, squeaking, warping, mold etc.
