Greeting,
We have installed Prowirl F200 DN80 on Saturated Steam, against following operating condition which was given by client.
Flow: 8000lbs/h , Pressure: 10 bar , Temperature: 170C, Line Size 6 inch
Applicator display the following outputs for these conditions
Meter Size: DN80
Velocity 41 m/s
Pressure Loss: 75mbar
After installation transmitter display measuring value as following.
Mass Flow 7193.13 kg/h ;;; is it mean the instrument size suitable for flow of 3628Kg/h but big meter size required for 7193.13 kg/h
Velocity 94.15 m/s
Temperature 173.49C
Client have query about pressure loss and claim the instrument drop the pressure 2 bar boiler running on 9 bar and production area receiving the 7 bar pressure after instrument installation.
Could you share your views about this problem.
