I have been looking for an enclosure that apparently doesn't exist, but maybe it's just not on the net. What I need is something that has a clear door or window, opens to access the instrument behind the door or window, and has 7-8 inches of working space behind the face of the instrument to be mounted, but then I need to be able to access the rear of the instrument also, preferably without undoing screws, hinges are ideal here, like a swing out door. So right now I have used the Hoffman A-12106CHQRFGW with a swing out door kit, this enclosure is not deep enough, and way too big around, 12x10, I want something closer between 6x7 or 10x8 and like I said before 7-8 inches of working space behind the mounting surface of the instrument.

Hoffman makes such a thing, but unfortunately nowhere near that small. They call it a double henges instrument enclosure.

Hi Fordfire

I have an enclosure part number that might fit your job. Do a goggle search on PJ864TW. This should get you in the right area to look around.

There was Robroy-Stahlin doing windowed cases too. (remember the time convector in the DeLorean?)

Call Hoffman Factory up, they make small order custom cabinets and the prices are not to bad.
