Encased composite column shear stud design to bending

For a multi-level encased composite column, how do you design the shear studs for the shear/bending within every floor level? AISC offers three methods (external force applied to steel / to concrete / concurrently) - which of these is applicable for that mentioned above?
 
Depends.

1)How will your beams be connected to your columns?

2) Will the concrete encasement continue right through your floor level joints?



 
Per AASHTO, for shear studs encased in concrete in columns, drilled shafts, or composite beams/girders, we don't design for bending; only ultimate shear strength and shear fatigue.
 
Composite column is used throughout multiple levels of the building, so yeah the encasement is continuous over many floors, but terminates somewhere near the top of the building where RC columns are used. Floors are prestressed slabs.

My strategy is to use shear studs to resist loads introduced per floor as well as the shear/bending.

For the interface of RC column and composite column, it will be bearing plates
