Hi all,
this is my first post in this forum. So please tell me if I'm posting this in the wrong section.
Does anybody know if there is a EN (european) code representing ASME or DIN fittings?
I know there is the EN-1092 which represents DIN flanges, and EN-1759 which represents ASME B16.5 flanges.
Now I’m looking for a EN-code that represents ASME B16.9 and DIN2615 tees (and other fittings).
I’ve already found the EN-10253 which gives DIN fitting measurements. It tells nothing about strength though, only minimal material properties.
ASME B16.9 for example says that the needed wall thickness of a fitting according to that code can be calculated as were it a standard piece of pipe.
Can any of you help me out on this issue? Where to find a statement on pressure rating for standard ASME and DIN fittings according to EN-code?
Thanks in advance for your replies.
With Regards,
Corné
