Please could somebody advise.

How different is EN 12953 from its TRD predessor with regard to basic details such as wall thickness and nozzle reinforcement for a 230 psig boiler? I get very much more conservative results applying EN 12953 to an existing TRD design. ( >10% ) This surprises me. I was expecting basic details to be similar.
