Anybody got a rule of thumb or a good reference for the range of water cut where you can form a stable emulsion for a (fairly light) crude oil?

Are you looking for emulsion viscosty, eventually?

No im mostly looking for thermal properties - i will hoever (unless i hear othervise) assume that they are equal to the average.

Im mostly interesed in a raneg (e.g. 0-30%) where a stable emulsion will form and where the phases (water and oil) dont seperate as soon as motion stops.

Best regards

ppata??????

Thank you for the link - i dont know what you mean about "the other problem". My only question relates to the range where stable oil emulsions form.

Best regards

Morten
