I usually use a Wrap feature to emboss any text, but today I tried to emboss a text to a curved face..I got this message:
"You've selected a spherical or toroidal face, these faces are not supported currently"

Is there any other way around this? or did I do any mistakes?

thanks for help

thermoD,
One easy way around this is to use cut-extrude, and select offset from surface.

1) Create your sketch with text
2) Select 'Cut-Extrude'
Select 'Off-set from Surface'
Select the surface you want to 'emboss' into
Select the depth of the cut
Make sure the direction of the cut is toward the part from the outside and the direction of the offset is into the part

Hope this helps.

Thanks, LMonaco
That was actually helpful if you want engraving, but for emboss it might be more complicated..for my part, it doesn't really matter..
so thank you very much

ThermoD,
Sorry for my misunderstanding, to get the embossing it is very is similar.

Instead a Cut-Extrude, use just an Extrude (with the terminating condition 'offset from surface')

Extrude the sketch from the inside of the part towards the outside, and offset the surface toward the outside of the part. This will leave you with raised letters.
