Hi everyone,

I read a thread about a DOS-based elastic layer analysis program, Elsy5, and apparently i can find it in the public domain ?

Can anyone tell me where is the public domain so i can get it ?

If there isn't, can anyone tell me where i can find it. I know i can buy it but i want a freeware cuz it's for a scholl project.

Thank you in advance for your help.

The public domain is all around you. It means that this software isn't copyrighted or protected by a license and can be freely distributed (if anyone wants to freely distribute it). I did a search in google and got 173 hits, but none of them seemed to offer a free download. McTrans Software is selling it for $45. Try your own search and go through each of the sites or ask your school if they can supply the software.
