A range hood for a local church's kitchen stove.
The rheostat to the blower motor failed. It is old enough that replacing the rheostat "on off" unit is impractical. They want to simply have a switch to turn it on & off, but when on, on high speed.

The plug to the blower motor has four wires. Black, White and two (2) Red. The two reds where joined in the circuit to the rheostat. This I assume activated the second windings of the motor for high speed via the rheostat.

Can you suggest the new wiring for an "on-off" switch, power & return with what appears to be three power lines (one black and two red)?

Suggestion: It may be better to contact the tech support; especially, if you do not have the full circuit diagram of the motor and rheostat.
