How I can get the reliable thickness of my elevated water tank? It will be made of cast steel.

Steel for tanks is actually rolled not cast. Steel sheets are then stamped in the geometry of the tower.

The tank steel does not have a uniform thickness. The sections on the top are typically thinner than the sections on the bottom sides.

The tank manufacturer designs and constructs the tanks. The manufacturer will submit shop drawings which will indicate the thickness.

any links sir?

Most states permit steel and concrete construction materials. All piping, joints, and fittings should conform to American Water Works Association (AWWA) specifications. Welded steel water tanks should confirm to American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/AWWA Standard D100. Factory-coated bolted steel tanks should confirm to ANSI/AWWA D103. Wire and strand wound, circular, pre-stressed concrete tanks should confirm to ANSI/AWWA Standard D110.
