When we use hard carbon as anode electrode, what is the main reasons that cause the large irreversible capacity?
Because from discharge & charge profile i can't see any plateau that show electrolyte reduction (SEI formation film).
So in this case,is this mean that i can't overcome the irreversible capacity by using electrolyte additive such as VC that widely used as electrolyte additive in graphite anode, right?
Besides, i can't not find any papers that try to improve li-ion battery with using hard carbon by adding electrolyte additive.
