I have a customer with a complex water profile. I can deal with the iron, manganese and hardness but the boron and sodium are another thing. I have read about electrocoagulation being used in relation to sodium and boron removal but wondered if it was snake oil stuff?
I did onsite testing and got good results for iron/manganese with a cation unit and was quite happy until the water analysis came back. Any other ways to deal with this water? Ion exchange for boron wouldn't deal with this level I'm told. R/O might be an option?
