Seeking some knowledge/suggestions:
I basically need a Pressure Compensator, which will be sited in a dry space (hub) in a sub sea application.
But I don't really want to use the ACTUAL pressure of the sea on compensator, as that would mean additional penetrations, which I need to avoid, OR siting the Pressure Compensator outboard, which is not an option either.
I DO however, have a pressure signal (from a sensor) available in the hub.
So.... is there an off the shelf product, that will supply oil to a cavity (non circulating, very low leak rate) at a pressure determined by my pressure sensor (+0.5bar).
Needs to be 24v, and happy to spend it's life rotating around a horizontal axis!
I've been looking into automatic oilers (the type that is fitted to big trucks) but need some alternatives.
I know I could design this system myself, but for cost and time reasons, it needs to be (pretty much) off the shelf.
here's hoping
TIA
James.
