Electro magnetism FEA

Hi there,
We are considering acquiring a 3D FEA for electrical motor design,
Currently COSMOSEMS and AMPERE are under evaluation...
Any experiences on other software packages ?

I have used ANSYS to do a magnetic analysis for a permanent magnet motor ... but, I only modeled the permanent magnet contribution to the flux field. ANSYS does have electromagnetic analysis capabilities so I am pretty sure you can model a full motor simulation. This could be a sizable task.
