Electrical Routing Overstock

When applying the overstock it tends to pop off after the harness is routed or if you try and edit a curve while the harness is routed. It only removes a portion of the overstock and not necessarily in the area that's being edited. Is there a particular preference that should be set or a particular way to apply the overstock. it seems to be very stragith forward
