Yes. "Delete Special" is a little like the option box you get when deleting a Sketch and selecting to also delete parents, children or aggregated.

If you've used points to construct a Branchable and you delete that Branchable the points will stay with "Delete" but be removed with "Delete Special" as they were children of that Branchable.
