anyone know where i can find a link or info about where i can find a valve that has the following properties:

-water flow
-elec motor controlled (not on/off, valve should open according to ammount of current applied)
-butterfly preferably
-1 to 2 inch diam

Have a look at and go to the control valves section of the product catalog. Lots of options there from many manufacturers (ball, globe, butterfly) but the smallest butterfly is 2".

Do you have a Cv requirement for this valve?

Full disclosure: I'm the marketing manager at Kele.

Good luck!

Also see Fisher Controls, Belimo, Johnson Controls, Honeywell websites, these are (the first that come to mind) manufacturers who will sell you a valve and actuator combination. There are also more actuator manufacturers and valve manufacturers than you can shake a stick at; most of these companies make actuators that mate directly or adapt to common 1/4-turn valve stems.
