I'm looking for suppliers of Electric Arc furnaces with capability of re-processing PGM's, mainly from automobile cats.

Any advice?

Do you really want an arc furnace? They tend to be rather large.

You might try PIFCOM,Pittsburgh Industrial furnaces) located in Pittsburgh, PA. They are a furnace design group with expertise in the steel industry. If an EAF is not the solution they may have an option.

GE, Brown Boveri, Siemens are some of the names that come readily to my mind. There is an Indian company Electrotherm, who are well reputed.

You may also source from some of the closed facilities. The greater challenge is in getting people to operate them and OSHA regulations.
