elastomeric materials to replace a squeeze film damper

Looking to correct a high speed generator design. It probably will need a few squeeze film dampers. Since it is essentially a single speed machine, it will only need to quickly pass thru resonance, not dwell there. Has anyone seen a nice solution using elastomers?
