Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how to model a elastic restraint in SAP2000?

I think that is possible to use a restraint between rigid and kneecap but I don't know how to use it

One way is to model a link element: 1) Provide a joint offset an arbitrary distance from your support joint. 2) Make that new joint fixed in space. 3) Then model the link element between the two joints. 4) Assign elastic properties to the link element.
