Dear all,
I am designing a foundation for a mast using EN1992 but I used ASCE 7-5 (as indicated in local standards) in estimating the wind load. My question;
1)Is there any rule for consistency in using codes for design?
2)If I am using EN1992 do I have to use Eurocodes throughout my design or I can use say ASCE 7-5 for my wind load calculation then use EN1992 for my foundation design?

You should follow the codes to the tee. I dont think its acceptable to pick and choose codes, unless specifically stated in that code. If you are designing using EN 1992 why would you not calculate forces to that code requirements as well.
