edrawings not measureing properly

For some reason edrawings is not doing a proper meausurement between two circles. i've also tried two pipe of any selection and when i do that i get "invalid combination of selected entities." it has worked fine on other parts and it will do a normal dimension between the steps but even then i don't get the "measure" line witht the x y and z lines

any help will be greatly appreciated

i'm using solidworks pro 2011 as well as edrawings pro 2011
