Hi there,

I'm trying to discover what sort of routine/algorithm is used to solve dynamic time problems in ProMechanica.

My previous experience tells me these are inherently difficult problems to solve yet ProMechanica doesn't seem to struggle whatsoever.

I wonder how reliable its results are?

There is a Verification Guide within the Help Center in Pro Engineer where they show the models that are used to gauge the results accuracy. Mechanica results are compared with both closed form and NASTRAN answers. Also, you can turn on the option to install those verification models when you install Pro E / Mechanica.
