Does anyone have feedback on using Winchill Dynamic Design Link to manage made to order product lines. My company is considering the DDL system to help us with documentation on a highly customizable product line, but it is a reletively inexpensive and simple product. I'm afraid DDL may take too much work to get set up for each product. Any thoughts?

We've also considered DDL - we had a demo from PTC. It looks like quite an involved package - like you say, it may be a bit over-the-top for an inexpensive product.

There was a lot of initial work to do during setup, but it should pay-off further down the line.

We've not yet made a decision, but I'd also be interested in hearing from anyone who's actually using it.
