ductile iron with GRE & Carbon Steel

Does anyone know how to connect a ductile iron pipe with GRE pipe
Also How to connect a ductile iron pipe with carbon steel pipe

Use a flange.

The DI one will be flat face so will the GRE or cstl but that's no issue.

you mean that the ductile iron fitting is flat face will be connected with flat face of the carbon steel or GRE?
if yes? do you think that both different materials flat face flanges will be inconsistent

if bringing two different flange materials will not make them inconsistent, so you mean we need to bring the flanges from the same materials, but in that case how I can connect that different material to the pipe (example, if two flanges are GRE, so I will have one flange should be tie-in with DI pipe, how this can be?

One flange is gre, the other is DI.

So long as they are the same size and type then just bolt them together.

Good, this what I sought for confirm it (using two different flange materials will not abolish the leak tight mechanism)
