Greetings.

I am looking around for a flange bearing with a housing which is either steel or ductile cast iron. I need the bore of the bearing to be 3.75" to 4.25".

The best I could find was a Browning flange bearing with a bore of 3.5". There are many others that I found with larger bores but not with a ductile cast iron.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks !

NSK-RHP do up to 4" bore in a 4-bolt ball bearing type ref. MSF 4.

But do you know of the 722 Series flanged housings? These have a small double row ball or even a small spherical roller bearing in. Sometimes useful in certain applications as you can seal them a damn site better than standard MSF housings?

Ask your SKF dealer for 722522 housing information.

We have machined steel housings for spherical od bearing inserts when stock flange or pillow block housings would not work. All have been for bearings under 2", but would work for any size.
