Drop Column 3

In doing manual volume calculations in embankment fills, you have two end areas. Then the average x length = volume. But, I would like to know if I can drop the average area, length and volume columns a half row in order to have the volume reflect between the two end areas:

Area Length Volume

25
45 3 105

I want:

25
35 3 105
45

Sure you can do thie.
Use one row for each.
Or use different formatting (top, middle and bottom) of a single tall row.

Latexman - thanks. The problem is, and , we have "running" chainages

k125+050 25
k125+075 35
k125+100 28

so you see that to get area between chainage k125+050 and k125+075, you follow the form I originally sent. We have hundreds of chainages in a column and by organizing in a drop column (following the old hand calculations) it "appears" cleaner to the eye. I suppose I can just use every other row for the chainages but would be nice not to "thicken" the spreadsheet thus.

If you select the whole spreadsheet and increase the row height to double the normal height,
then select the columns for the average area, length and volume and format them for "top" alignment (the chainage and end areas being the default "bottom"alignment),
this should give the appearance you require, without introducing extra rows.
