Not sure if this is the right forum for this; Does any one know where I could find some info on standard steel section hole gauge lines and hole sizes (metric if possible), It is the one thing I have not been able to find anywhere.
Thanks.

thanks lylebrown00, I am based in NSW, It it a great site for resources although I can't seem to find the steel gauge lines, any chance of a direct link?

Sorry, I dont believe you can access it from the site.
I provided the site for information, assuming you were not based in Australia.
I have the AISC books, the gauge lines are in the back couple of pages of the Red "Structural / open Sections" book to AS 4100.
I think there is a hollow section to AS 4100 and both (hollow and structural) to AS 3990, though I am unsure of their content.
I think the books were somewhere circa $100.

I think I have seen gauge lines specified on client "standard drawings", however I suspect they were "sourced" from the cited reference.

One steel and Smorgon publish something similar on the web (in terms of capacity tables) though I am not sure about gauge lines, I am on a limited internet connection, so I may have to leave the downloading to you.

Try here for a start:

Lyle
