Hi,
I have become involved with drill/auger equipment welded adapter couplings, more specifically rating couplings to torque and tension. Some couplings involve bolted flange connections.
These designs require a stamp.
What standard would be most relevant to these type of designs? Customer has not specified any particular standard.
I am somewhat familiar with AWS D1.1 , ASME VIII Div.1 and ASME BTH-1, just wondering if there is even more relevant one.
Any help would be appreciated!
