Drainage time for tanks

I am working on sizing the drain pipe of several tanks / pump boxes (for slurry applications). Depending on the size of this pipe, the drainage time of these tanks varies between a few minutes to a few hours. I wonder if there is a recommended range for the drainage time for such applications. Any ideas?

Is it rated for full vacuum? If not, don't drain it faster than the vent/relief system can handle, or it will become sucked in.

It is for emptying the tanks fully. Can you explain your answer more?

The top of these tanks are open so there is not going to be any vacuum issues.

In that case, size the drain pipe such that there are no downstream problems.
