Greetings:

I have a model that I just finished and then began drafting. The first base view that I try to insert, once I orient the view how I want it, click on the sheet to place it, it starts to think, then gives the error message: Modeler Error: Please Report Fault.

How do you get around this error?

Thanks,

Brent

Have you tried to start a new NX session and load these files ?

Tomas

Tomas,

I have tried a new session. I even re-booted, still same error.

I'd suggest switching to the model and running 'examine geometry' on the entire model. If the geometry is clean, contact GTAC.

www.nxjournaling.com

and when you run the examine geometry, reset the menu before selection.
I made the mistake the other week to run without reset, my selection filter was then set to "solid bodies" and I got "zero errors" on the examine geometry which led to that i spent a couple of hours searching for other possible reasons. ( - that i couldn't create section views) Without the filter NX immediately found the corrupted geometry/face.(Imported geometry.)

IF it is your model and not imported dead geometry, try suppressing "the lower half" of the feature tree, try create that view.
If imported, use the Heal Geometry and see if that produces a solid without the problem. ( It removes all features, so ...)

Regards,
Tomas
