Hello, is it possible to use background (border, table... ) from AutoCAD file (*.dwg) in Solid Edge? Thanks!

You could probably cut an paste it into a background sheet to use when necessary.

Posting guidelines faq731-376 (probably not aimed specifically at you)
What is Engineering anyway: faq1088-1484

No problem,

Just open a DWG drawing with the required border in to a blank dft file suitable for your requirements. Its best to use a clean DWG with just the border. then tidy up any poorly translated text and save as a draft.

There is an options button (bottom left of open diologue) this works like a wizard and will lead through layers, line weights, fonts, colour matching etc.

Note any autocad links or auto-text will be lost so you will have to re-establih those with SE properties.
