Draft analysis dialog doesnt comeup

Hi,

Sometimes in part design I dont find the the draft analysis dialog doesnt kickup. No matter howmany time, I click the draft analysis tool, it doesnt brigup the dialog.
Restarting SW solves this.

Does any one else face this?

Can be an issue with SW registry.

Try reseting (renaming) your registry and see if that fixes the issue.

You can try Redefining the Analysis by going to
View > Modify > Draft Analysis

View > Display Draft Analysis , now toggles whether the Analysis is active. The icon under Modify sub-menu allows you to edit the analysis as well as choose which faces you want to show or hide on screen which makes it a lot easier to find faces that don't match draft requirements.

Which Analysis are you using the one from Draft Analysis that
gives the option to keep color on faces, or the New Draft Expert option.

In 2008 SolidWorks changed the behavior of the analysis by giving it the option to give you a live update so drafted Faces are shown as they are created. While redefining you can select which face classifications to display.

Michael,
I am using the View>Display>Draft analysis. But, I never observed that there were setting under View>modify.
Thanks for drawing my attn on this. Your images were helpful.
