Anybody can tell me about correlation for weak or fractured rock investigated by DP or SPT
I've found only pressuremeter menard, Plim=spt/20, from Doix & Bustamente for non fractured marl and similar.
Thanks

Italicus - I wouldn't even try. Perhaps for "special" type rock (e.g., chalk) there might be some correlations but even for weak fractured shale - the blow counts at 50/1" penetration - what is it going to tell you? You have something more than "soil"???

Agreed. I think it's a waste of time.

What are you trying to accomplish?
