Double click of Format Painter will not format multiple cells

I have upgraded to Office 2010 (64 bit on two laptops and 32 bit on one other) and the Format Painter does not work properly. A single click on the Format Painter allows copying a format from one location to another. A double click is supposed to allow formatting to multiple places in the document. This is not the case with all three computers. Has anyone had this problem and solved it?

I use Office 2010 and have not seen that problem, the double click works for me.

I have found the source of my problem. By using the key stroke equivalent to double clicking the format painter (Ctr+Shift+C) I have discovered that there is a conflict with add-in software that I use (ExcelCalcs). I use ExcelCalcs extensively, so I will not give it up for the convenience of the extended use of the format painter. I can however disable ExcelCalcs temporarily and use the painter features without a problem. The developers at ExcelCalcs will certainly solve this issue.[smile]
