I work in a GRC panel manufacturing company and we've recently begun adding retarder to the mix to reduce the waste we were accumulating waiting for coats to dry. A problem arose around that time where something was effecting in color of the panels after it dried. As we are using pigments the color is important and it needs to match the rest of the projects panels. The quality control department is insistent that this problem has come up as a result of using the retarder. However the owner as well as some of the other upper management are insistent that there is no way retarder could do such a thing. In some test samples the color of the samples became more yellowed when the retarder was added. Can someone explain whether or not retarder does impact the final color of concrete and explain why or why not so we can put this discussion at work to rest. Thanks
