Does anyone know a source where one could find experimental/process data which could be simulated?

Greetings,

I have recently finished a masters in mechanical engineering. Jobs are difficult to come by without experience so I have decided to do a few simulations on CAELinux and send that on with my application for both CFD and FEA.

Does anyone know of any reliable sources of real experimental data which could be sourced? This would need all the dimensions and relevant properties of the materials involved.
