divide lines in drawing

I want to divide lines in a 2D drawing.
For example I have a rectangle block, in the 2D drawing I want to divide one of the lines in three sections. One of these sections I want to delete.

The real drawing is a little bit more complicated, but the idea is the same.
With edge display I can delete complete lines, but I want to delete line sections.
In Autocad this is easy to do, but is this also possible with Creo/Proe?

there are options of trimming/dividing 2D lines in WF-4
.It's under edit>Trim....
don't know about Creo

What you mean is in sketch mode I think.

The problem is you can't modify lines in general or projection view with that function.

If I understood your problem properly,
I think u want to have broken view like shown below:
View attachment 5547
For achieving that: u have to add broken view in view property
Or send picture what u want to achieve

That isn't exactly what I mean, with the picture below I hope you will understand.
In the picture you see a wall (red lines), with behind it a frame (green). On the blue circled points I don't want to show the frame. The sections with the cross I want to trim.

I hope the picture makes it easier to understand.

Off course I can make cut extrude at that point in the 3Dassembly, but I have to use the assembly also for other drawings.

you may create simplified representation in assembly having asm cut and put view of that simplified representation on drawing.

You can use edges to create draft lines. During creation you will have the option to erase the part line. You can break, trim, etc. the draft line.

Thank you for your answers,

The last post was the right answer for my question.

I don't think it is possible to trim model driven line in pieces on drawing..or i am missing something.
As green line comes from model, how can we trim that to remove piece??

If you use the function edge in sketch mode, you make from a model driven line a sketch line. Then you can erase the model line with edge display and trim the sketch line.

I hope this work also when I replace the model for a family instance, but I will see that later.
