I intend to modify a 600V, 3 Ph, distribution panel that has 400 Amps incoming Fuse disconnect switch and four 100 Amps branch circuit breakers.
I want to use one 3 Ph, 100 Amps branch circuit to feed 75 KVA transformer supplying to a non continuous load. Remove three 100 Amps CBs and add one 300 Amps CB to supply to a 600 V, 3 Ph, chiller unit having FLA=230 Amps. Chiller unit has integral control unit for overload and overcurrent protection. Any recommendations/ suggestion on the viability of modification are highly appreciated.
