Hi all, I have seen references to sonic transducers in rock drilling. Can a similar technique be used to machine a polymer ? Can anyone recommend any books/ articles on this. With regard to effectiveness in processing polymers, what is the advantage of using sonic energy to say microwave energy. Not my area so apologies if question is dumb. Thanks. opticman.
