Dip Tube in Tank Reactor 1

Hello,
I am working on a project about metal working (MWF). I need to install a dip tube to discharge HCl in my reactor, I have available nozzles at the bottom head of the reactor and at the top head.
I would like to know what are the advantages and disvantages of installing my dip pipe at the bottom or at the top.

Dip tubes are always from the top. Their purpose is to allow discharge into the bulk liquid without free fall. If you feed into a bottom nozzle you would be discharging into bulk liquid without free fall.

A dip tube on bottom would cause complete loss of containment if it failed. A vertical dip tube from the bottom would always hold liquid and create a hazard when working in the reactor.
