Dimensions to hidden lines ? 2

Hi all, I have a quick question about dimensions? I am running Solidworks 2007. In drawing views, is it possible to dimension to hidden lines? I know I used to be able to do it in earlier releases of Solidowrks but I can't seem to figure it out on 2007.

Tools->options->display/selection->selection of hidden entities.

Dim to hidden lines is against drafting practices anyway. For a clearer dwg, you may want to section the view first then dim it.

Jeff, I tried "Tools->options->display/selection->selection of hidden entities." Still doesn't work...Won't even allow my to select the hidden line.

Chris, I knew someone would correct me about dimensioning to hidden lines. My current place of employment doesn't realy follow propper drafting practices & standards. They are able to get away with it because all fabrication & assembly is done in house. It seems the more views I put onto drawings, the more confused our fabricators get....I know it isn't the correct to dimension, but I've been indoctrinated into the "Garvey" way.

The Tools > Options > ... worked for me. (SW07 SP5)
Are you sure the Allow selection in wireframe and HLV modes option is check marked?

Do you have any Selection Filters Activated?

Have you tried re-starting SW?
