I don't seem to be able to "pull" the variable values.

I haven't done this before, but I don't figure it's hard.

I put a table in a drawing, and have dimensions on the drawing view. I want these dimensions to appear in the table, and update automatically.

I have tried the excel, "=name" and also ="name" and {name}

I'd love to get some help :)

ryandias,

I have a solution, but it only works if the dimension is also a variable... should also work with PMI dimensions, but I've never tried it.

In the variables table (of the part or assembly in question), click in the expose column so that a checkmark appears. Enter the Exposed Name (will determine the name of the column).

This makes the variable a property of the part/assembly. In the properties of the table, you should be able to get the column corresponding to the Exposed Name you entered (right-click on table, under the columns tab).

Hope this helps,

Martin
