Dimensioning Automation NX9: Are Journals possible?

Dimensioning mouse clicks are killing me when detailing large projects.

Almost everything I do requires digging down into the dialogue to tweak something...
Ex: Hole Callout, changing decimal places on a depth or diameter, or switching to fractional units, dropping a leader etc...

I do the same thing over and over again for hundreds of dwg's and it's very inefficient.

I've made up some journals to edit dims I've placed to get what I need.. but I know it's not the best.
What I would like to do is have my own dimension commands. Ones that will allow all the edits to be done upon placement of the dim.

But I'm in over my head with the journal editing for selecting objects... and I don't even know if this can be done.

Any feed back would be much appreciated. My hand is killing me!!

Anyone?? I figured this must be a pretty common issue.

NX Dimensioning can be very labor / click intensive.

TIA for any help or recommendations

All the NX Drafting, in general, has always been a very tedious job - even in simple parts dimensioning I was faster on the drafting board - and THE area where they should have put the efforts. I do not know all about the coming improvements but from what I've seen we will still be laking the easiness of competitors mid-range softwares after the coming spring. Is it so difficult after all to mimic THE 2D software that is still today, after more than 30 years, the best one for drafting? That could be the next question...
