Dimensioning and Tolerancing Block ASME Y14.1

I'm seeking help interpreting ASME Y14.1-2020. We have a Dimensioning and Tolerancing Block in our Title Block. We utilize continuation sheets. Here's my question: is the Dimensioning and Tolerancing Block REQUIRED on the continuation sheets?

AMSE Y14.1-2020 paragraph 10 - ADDITIONAL DATA BLOCKS:
"Blocks containing various types of additional data, when required, shall be added adjacent to the title block and in the same respective location on all drawing sheets."

The way I interpret that statement, if we use a Dimensioning and Tolerancing Block on the first sheet, it MUST BE present on continuation sheets. Is this the correct interpretation?

There's also paragraph 6.3
"As a minimum, the continuation sheet title block shall contain the following: Blocks C, H, I, J, and L."

At every company I worked at, I have never seen it on all sheets. The continuation sheets are governed by sht 1, including tolerance, revision, signatures, etc.

That's what happens when everyone "knows" what to do and they go and codify it.

In the past "formats" were literal formatted drawings, pre-printed with the drawing blocks on them from a printing company. What they are getting to by saying "all the same" is the original default. For those drawings that were on plain paper, companies bought decals that were adhered to the drawings, one kind for the first sheet and a second kind for any continuation sheets.

Honestly, the committee on drawings is working to maintain things as-is.

As-is, drawings only carried individual sheet data that applied solely to the sheet, except the first sheet, which also carried information that applied to the drawing set. Tolerances, sheet revision block, and the like apply to the entire drawing set and go only on the first sheet.

I don't have the 2020 version - does it still mention microfilm marks?
